FHI 360 is a global development organization with a rigorous, evidence-based approach. Our professional staff includes experts in health, nutrition, education, economic development, civil society, environment and research. FHI 360 operates from 60 offices with 4,400 staff in the U.S. and around the world. We have worked with 1,400 partners in 125 countries, forging strong relationships with governments, diverse organizations, the private sector and communities. Our commitment to partnerships at every level and our multidisciplinary approach enable us to have a lasting impact on the individuals, communities and countries we serve–improving lives for millions. In July 2011, globally, FHI acquired Academy for Educational Development (AED) programs, expertise and other assets, building on its strategic approach to reach beyond health and embrace broader sectors of development.
FHI 360 India office started its operations in the mid-90s. Over the years, it has grown with a high pace and scale to a strong team of 109 staff in five states and has positioned itself as a technical assistance agency primarily within HIV and AIDS. In more recent years, FHI 360’s technical areas have diversified to include other important public health priorities, such as family planning and reproductive health, health system strengthening, nutrition, education, integrated health and development, and infectious diseases, including tuberculosis and malaria.
