1 Field Interviewers Manual
The Interviewers Manual is a guideline on how to conduct interviews, fill the questionnaire, and a question-by-question explanation of the content of the questionnaire. This was used as a tool during training and was translated for interviewers.
2 Field Doctors Manual This manual outlines the responsibilities of the field doctor. It has been updated for IBBA Round 2 although much of the work remains the same.
3 Field Laboratory Manual This manual describes how to collect, process, store and transport specimens safely while maintaining quality for the IBBA field work, the process for maintaining and ordering supplies and the waste management procedures. The lab submission form and stock order form are supplements to this document.
4 District Laboratory Manual This manual outlines the responsibilities of the district lab technician. It has been updated for IBBA Round 2 although much of the work remains the same.
5 State Laboratory Manual The state laboratory manual lays out the responsibilites of the state lab, sample storage, processing and testing procedures, etc.
6 Lab Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manual This manual provides guidance on quality assurance and quality control of the biological component of the IBBA. It is a detailed manual laying out how quality should be assured before, during and after the surveys.
7 Data Management Manual The data management manual provides guidance on how to conduct data management activities throughout different levels of the IBBA from field work to preparing for anlaysis.
